Step into the shoes of the pros for a day and test your drive on the only course designed for the Australian Open.

"The Open Course at Moonah Links is the first ever 18 holes built and prepared for a national championship. With exceptional viewing platforms for spectators. It is one of the longest courses in Australia, and probably in the world in this category.

It measures 6783 metres, so it offers more than a casual stroll in the outdoors. It is a mighty and ferocious test of golfing ability, the likes of which even the top pros only occasionally experience. In terms of difficulty, I estimate a club-handicapped player would merit an extra eight strokes assistance to return a net par score, yet the course has great flexibility. It can be played at many different lengths depending on tees selected.

Indeed, it is expected that the total length will only seldom be used for the real championship occasion.

In addition to its condusive natural contours, the site is blessed with ever-present wind of some direction and strength, and this enhances its attributes. Planning has arranged that no particular direction is especially helpful, it is always a factor.

Legends Course

The Legends Course stands as a tribute to past champions who have contributed to the rich history of Australian golf."

"In contrast to the Open Course, which was purpose built to challenge the modern champion, the Legends Course will be a more friendly golfing experience for players of all ages and abilities.

The course is a loop of 18 holes that generally follow the valleys through a variety of landscapes ranging from ancient Moonah woodlands to open links land. The fairways are generous and the putting surfaces gentle, but the bunkering style is bold and wild in appearance.

At 6,315 metres, the course should be fun, but it won't be a pushover.

Accommodation

Designed to harmonise with the land which has been moulded from ancient rolling sand dunes.

The resort’s accommodation has been designed by leading architects to optimise the stunning course-side position and reflect the natural undulating landscape. Featuring natural materials, clean design lines and earthy Australian tones the suites complement the natural beauty of the site and preserve the existing native flora, including the Moonah trees.

All Moonah Rooms and One Bedroom Suites feature views of the 18th green of the Legends Course or the swimming pool and private central putting green while the contemporary Open Lodges overlook the Open Course. Furnishings are modern and stylish with a Peppers touch - soft leather covered seats and lounges, modern appliances and natural colours. All accommodation rooms feature balconies or patios.

Moonah Room

Featuring a king-size bed or two single beds, the Moonah Rooms can accommodate a maximum of two people.

One Bedroom Suite

Featuring a king-size bed or two single beds, the One Bedroom Suite also has an ensuite bathroom, kitchenette and double foldout sofa in the lounge. This style rooms can accommodate a maximum of three people.

Open Lodges

Designed to capture the sun yet provide protection from the wind, there are three accommodation lodges containing 12 rooms in each. Suites look out over the rolling dunes of the Open Course from their individual terrace or deck. Featuring large bedrooms with king or twin beds and bathrooms designed as spa areas, contemporary finishings and furnishings are featured throughout.

Conferences and Meetings

At Peppers Moonah Links Resort we offer seven state-of-the-art meeting spaces plus three boardrooms ideal for breakout groups or secretariat. All meeting rooms offer the following facilities:

A sound proof diving wall can separate this room in into Thomson 1 & 2, creating two breakout rooms.

Stonehaven
An oval board table with leather armchairs takes centre stage in this room suitable for 10 delegates boardroom style. A private espresso machine for delicious fresh coffee in room for use throughout the day is standard along with the flexibility of three phase lighting. Stonehaven is located opposite Pebbles Restaurant, allowing you the flexibility of catering within the privacy of the conference room, at Pebbles Restaurant or in the fresh air on the club terrace.

AGU
Offering plenty of natural light, the AGU seats 16 delegates boardroom style around a rectangle board table with leather armchairs. Electronic blinds can be used to create darkness while three phase lighting can also be utilised. Fresh coffee is on hand throughout the day with the private espresso machine and you can choose to enjoy a working meal or dine in Pebbles Restaurant or on the club terrace located next door.

Corporate Marquee
Our permanent Corporate Marquee is a state-of-the-art event facility. Located next to the club house for ease of catering and amenities access, the Marquee boasts full carpeted floors, heating and cooling, windowed walls allowing natural light to enter, full catering and bar set facilities and full power and audio for presentations.

The retractable marquee walls can be opened to create and indoor / outdoor alfresco set up while allowing the expansive views of the 18th hole on the Open Course and rolling grassland and sand dunes set an impressive backdrop. An outdoor grassed area can be set with your own wooden tables and chairs creating a casual atmosphere.

The Marque is the ideal venue for a gala dinner or award evening but is also a perfect space for indoor team building activities and Yoga or Tai Chi sessions to get your conference delegates in the right frame of mind.

Ridge / Salt / Rush
The Ridge, Salt and Rush rooms serve as a purpose built function rooms to each Lodge. Overlooking the rolling dunes of the Open Course, each room accommodates up to 100 delegates seated theatre style and features two glass walls allowing natural light to filter through. Each Lodge boasts its own boardroom, large private terrace perfect as a breakout area or for morning and afternoon tea. An indoor and outdoor fire place is featured in each Lodge that can be comfortably set with conference tables and lounges and a plasma TV can also be enjoyed.
